Emad Khashoggi

Emad Khashoggi is the founder of Cogemad, a company based in Paris.

After completing his secondary education at Le Rosey school in Switzerland, he graduated from Pepperdine University, California, with a BA in 1987.

Drawing on his passion for design, architecture and craftsmanship, Emad Khashoggi created Cogemad in 1989. Originally based in Cannes, the company is dedicated to designing and developing unique properties.

Over the years, Emad has surrounded himself with the very best craftsmen and technical experts, building a team as discreet as it is effective, in order to breathe new life into the luxury property market in the Côte d’Azur, and later Paris, Switzerland and the Middle East.

In the early 2000s, after successfully completing numerous property projects in France and elsewhere, Emad started to dream... He began to imagine a place like nowhere else in the world, a true homage to the architecture of the 17th century and an international showcase for French savoir-faire: Château Louis XIV.

The idea took several years to mature, and the project gradually took shape. In 2009, a wooded area of land between Versailles and Marly came onto the market, providing the impetus for this extraordinary project to become reality: thus began the adventure of Château Louis XIV. It was completed in record time, just three years after building work started.

Château Louis XIV featured in a special edition of Connaissance des Arts magazine in 2012, detailing both its design and construction.

Thanks to Emad Khashoggi's unique vision in designing custom-built properties, Cogemad Haute Couture Homes and Interiors is now in regular demand by prestigious clients the world over.
