The Property

Behind the building’s historic façade lies a comfortable and prestigious interior with the very best of the latest modern features. Design

Created by a unique collaboration of designers and artists, the starting point for the interior design scheme was the history of the house. COGEMAD restored the incredible ceiling frescoes, dated from 1885.

Natural light shines down through the original glass roof, illuminating every floor. The sky can be seen throughout the house, from the top floor landing to the Night Club, creating a palette of light and shade across the furnishings and works of art that decorate the property.

Dining

The formal dining room, which seats 12 persons, is perfect for entertaining. Walls decorated with aged mirror panels complement the aubergine-hued chandelier lampshades and the chairs in the same pallet.

In this room, not only is the ceiling adorned with gold leaf enhancing the magnificent crystal chandelier, but behind the glass doors, the gorgeous kitchen La Cornue will regale the guests.

The Kitchen

Avant-garde and one-of-a-kind works of art are now making their way into our kitchens. The La Cornue cooker is a masterpiece in itself, with every single detail designed to combine excellence with refinement. A carefully crafted palette of stone complements the fresh bold cabinets.

Master Apartment

Occupying a surface of 92 sq. m / 990 sq. ft on the first floor, the Master Apartment, which is accessible directly by lift, comprises a Boudoir which has been inspired by the Turkish boudoir of Marie-Antoinette from the Chateau de Fontainebleau – ideal for relaxation, a bedroom providing a tailor-made bed for more comfort, an exquisite bathroom featuring freestanding bath and showers in Carrara marble and golden mosaic, and a walk-in dressing room.

Guest Suites

The house boasts four other bedrooms located on the first and second floor. Bedrooms are finished in a warm neutral palette to create a calm retreat where you can relax and rejuvenate.

The Family Room

The Carrara marble staircase brings you to the warm and sophisticated Family Room of 147 sq. m.

With a full-sized billiard table, cozy banquette seating and a refined atmosphere, the Family Room offers residents an opportunity to wind down, spend time with friends and family or simply hone their playing skills, all within a laid-back, elegant and beautifully appointed space.

Pool and Spa

Moving down the helical stairs, a glimpse on the 16-metre swimming pool through a glazed wall. A gym, hammam spa, and massage room lead off from the pool lobby.

The ‘floating’ staircase is a masterpiece of both design and engineering – created by hand, it reflects a freestanding curve and crafted using the famous French Limestone ‘Magny Le Louvre’.

Entertaining

The double height Night Club with DJ station and dancers’ balconies on the upper balconies will entertain your guests. The Wine cellar also offers exquisite wine domains that will make your experience unforgettable.

Next to the Night Club is the 12 seat Movie Theater, equipped with the very latest technology – 4K projector with 17 speakers Dolby Atmos sound, DTS and Auro 3D.

Quality

Particular attention was paid to fabrics, mouldings, bronzes, and individual details that distinguish the exceptional spaces throughout the property. The use of different materials reflects the dedication to refinement and comfort. Decorated in different palettes, the property is furnished with bespoke pieces, antiques, objets d’art and curated books.
